Who am I and why did this app come to life?
Created by an angler, not by a corporation
My name is Rafał Kokosiński and I’ve been passionate about fishing for several years. I always felt there was no proper tool to organise my catch notes and actually learn something from them.
I tried different solutions – paper notebooks, note-taking apps, calendars – but everything quickly got lost or was simply inconvenient.
That’s why I created CarpStat – first for myself, to keep things organised and to analyse my own catches. Over time, it turned out that other anglers were looking for exactly the same.
Today, CarpStat grows thanks to its community – and it still remains an app built out of passion, not out of spreadsheets and profit margins.

Are my data private?
Yes. Only you can see your catches, fishing spots and notes. No one else has access to them – unless you choose to share them with your team members.

Is CarpStat only for carp anglers?
No. Despite its name, the app is designed for all coarse anglers – whether you fish for carp, tench, bream or grass carp.
Does CarpStat work without the internet?
No. The app requires an internet connection to save catches, fetch weather data and sync your statistics.
